 IBPS, an autonomous body, has been authorized by the IBA and has received mandates from 19 Public Sector Banks to conduct the recruitment of Clerical Cadre posts twice in a year for their needs.

 A common written exam (CWE) will be held tentatively in December 2012. by the IBPS as a pre-requisite for selection of personnel for Clerical Cadre posts in the following 20 Public Sector Banks (Some private banks are also accepting CWE IBPS scorecard for recruitment)

Clerical positions:
Age: 20-28 years as on 01/10/2012, age relaxation under the rules of SC / ST / OBC / Handicapped / Ex-SM
Qualification: Degree in any discipline or any other equivalent qualification and computer literacy: Utilization and practical knowledge in computer systems is mandatory, ie they should have the Certificate / Diploma / Degree in computer operations / Language / should have looked / Technology of information as one of the subjects in the School / College / Institute.
