IBPS conducts the written exam (CWE) 2012 for Clerical Cadre
IBPS, an autonomous body, has been authorized by the IBA and has received mandates from 19 Public Sector Banks to conduct the recruitment of Clerical Cadre posts twice in a year for their needs.
A common written exam (CWE) will be held tentatively in December 2012. by the IBPS as a pre-requisite for selection of personnel for Clerical Cadre posts in the following 20 Public Sector Banks (Some private banks are also accepting CWE IBPS scorecard for recruitment)
Allahabad Banks / Andhra Bank / Bank of Baroda / Bank of India / Bank of Maharashtra / Canara Bank / Central Bank of India / Corporation Bank / Dena Bank / IDBI Bank / Indian Bank / Indian Overseas Bank / Oriental Bank of Commerce / Punjab National Bank / Punjab and Sind Bank / Syndicate Bank / Union Bank of India / United Bank of India / UCO Bank / Vijaya Bank
Those who will succeed in the common written exam (CWE) will be given a scorecard (Like CAT exam of IIM) and may apply to any of the participating bank when they come up with their job vacancy and then these successful candidates have personnel information and cite their CWE scores.
Each of the bank will issue individual recruitment notifications, vacancies, eligibility criteria etc. separately.
Clerical positions:
Age: 20-28 years as on 01/10/2012, age relaxation under the rules of SC / ST / OBC / Handicapped / Ex-SM
Qualification: Degree in any discipline or any other equivalent qualification and computer literacy: Utilization and practical knowledge in computer systems is mandatory, ie they should have the Certificate / Diploma / Degree in computer operations / Language / should have looked / Technology information as one of the subjects in the School / College / Institute. The mastery of the official language of the State / UT (candidates must know how toread / write and speak the official language of the State / UT) for which you want to apply acandidate vacancies is preferable.
Fee: Rs. 400 / - (Rs.50 / - for SC / ST / PWD candidates) can be paid online at the time of filling the application form online through online payment gateways of banks / credit card or through NEFT or deposited in the offices of CBS 6 bank of 19 bank (for details see the announcement of detailed payment please carefully before payment). Keep the details / receipts of the fee submission safely as it is to be displayed at the time of the written test.

IBPS may send call letters exam etc. In any case, the candidate shouldshare with / talk email ID to / of any other person. Should a candidate doesnot have a valid personal email ID, he / she should create his / her new e-mail IDbefore online application and must maintain that email account.
General Instructions:
(1) The candidates will have to submit the letter of invitation to review and photocopy ofphoto-identity at the time of examination.
(2) Before applying for the CWE for clerk positions in public sector banks participating, the candidate must ensure that he / she fulfills the eligibility and other norms mentionedin this ad. Candidates are therefore andfollow read this listing carefully all instructions for submitting online application.
(3) IBPS would be free to reject any application, at any stage, if found ineligible candidateis as stipulated eligibility criteria. Decision of the IBPS in allmatters regarding eligibility of the candidate, the stages at which scrutiny ofeligibility must be performed, qualifications and eligibility rules, the documentsto be held for the purpose of conducting the review, etc.
(4) Not more than one application should be submitted by any candidate. MultipleApplications / records will be summarily rejected and run the application fee.
(5) Online applications once registered can not be withdrawn and / or theapplication fee once paid the shipping costs will not be reimbursed or withheld test forany other.
(6) Any dispute arising as a result of this announcement includes recruitmentprocess be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Mumbai.
(7) Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification.
(8) If it is detected at any time that a candidate does not meet the eligibility normsand / or that he / she has provided any incorrect / false / certificate / documents orhas suppressed any material fact (s), his / her candidacy remain canceled. If ofthese shortcomings is / are detected after the appointment of a bank, his / her services areliable be summarily terminated.
(9) Any request for change of address will not be entertained.
(10) In the event of a dispute concerning the interpretation of the clauses in thisadvertisement any version other than English, the English version is available on the website shallprevail IBPS.
(11) the admission of a candidate for the examination is strictly provisional. The mere fact thatthe call letter has been delivered to the candidate does not imply that his / her candidaturehas been finally cleared by the IBPS.
(12) An applicant must ensure that the signatures appended by him / her everywhere viz.in his / her letter of convocation, attendance, sheet etc. and in all correspondences with the IBPS / Bank in future should be identical
